We are committed to providing a secure environment where users of all ages can reflect, grow, and connect without fear.

How We Keep You Safe
AI Safety Layer
Our AI companion is designed with multiple safety guardrails. Conversations are analyzed in real-time for crisis indicators, and when signs of distress are detected the system surfaces professional crisis resources. The AI will never provide medical diagnoses, prescribe treatments, or replace professional mental-health care.
Content Moderation
User-generated content shared in community features is subject to automated filters and human review. We prohibit content that promotes self-harm, violence, harassment, hate speech, or exploitation. Violating content is removed and repeat offenders face account suspension.
Data Protection
Journal entries and personal reflections are encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell personal data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.
Child & Teen Safety
We take extra precautions for younger users:
- Users under 13 require verified parental or guardian consent before creating an account.
- Parental controls allow guardians to monitor activity, restrict features, and set usage limits.
- Age-appropriate content filtering ensures younger users are not exposed to mature topics.
- Direct messaging between minors and adults is disabled by default.
- We comply with COPPA and other applicable child-protection regulations.
Reporting Concerns
Your reports help us maintain a safe community. You can report:
- Inappropriate or harmful content via the Report button on any post or profile.
- Safety concerns directly to our Trust & Safety team at safety@donnywonny.com.
- Potential child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline.
All reports are reviewed within 24 hours. You will not face retaliation for making a good-faith report.
