Donny Wonny is a personal growth and emotional wellness companion designed to help people of all ages build healthier habits, reflect meaningfully, and thrive. These Community Guidelines exist to ensure that every user feels safe, supported, and respected.
By using Donny Wonny you agree to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, temporary restrictions, or account suspension depending on severity.
1. Be Kind & Respectful
- Treat every member of the community with empathy and dignity.
- Avoid language or behaviour that is threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or hateful based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic.
- Disagree constructively — personal attacks are never acceptable.
2. Keep It Safe
- Do not share content that promotes self-harm, violence, or dangerous activities.
- If you or someone you know is in crisis, please reach out to a professional resource such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) or the Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741).
- Never solicit or share personal contact information, home addresses, or financial details of other users.
3. Protect Privacy
- Respect others' privacy — do not share screenshots, journal entries, or personal conversations without explicit consent.
- Keep your own login credentials confidential and do not share your account.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors' use of the platform and ensuring age-appropriate interactions.
4. Honest & Authentic Use
- Use only one account per person. Do not impersonate others or create misleading profiles.
- Do not post spam, unsolicited advertisements, or promotional content.
- Do not attempt to manipulate engagement metrics or abuse platform features.
5. Content Standards
All content you share — including journal entries visible to groups, profile information, and messages — must comply with these standards:
- No sexually explicit or pornographic material.
- No graphic violence or glorification of violent acts.
- No content that infringes on intellectual property or copyright.
- No content that promotes illegal activities, substance abuse, or dangerous challenges.
6. Minors & Family Safety
Donny Wonny welcomes users of all ages and takes the safety of younger users very seriously:
- Users under 13 must have verifiable parental or guardian consent.
- Adults must never engage in inappropriate contact with minors on the platform.
- Any content or behaviour targeting minors will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.
7. Reporting & Enforcement
If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these guidelines:
- Use the in-app Report feature on any content or profile.
- Email our Trust & Safety team at safety@donnywonny.com.
We review every report and take action as appropriate, including warnings, content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent bans. We may also report illegal activity to law enforcement.
8. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of Donny Wonny after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
