We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
Because we do not engage in either activity, there is nothing for you to opt out of — but California law gives you the right to that opt-out, and we want to be clear and easy to reach about it. If you would like written confirmation that your personal information has not been sold or shared, you may request that confirmation using the options below. We will respond within 45 days as required by §1798.130 of the California Civil Code.
How to confirm your opt-out
You have three ways to confirm and document your opt-out:
- Email us at privacy@donnywonny.com. Include the email address tied to your Donny Wonny account so we can verify your identity.
- Use the Settings → Privacy → Do Not Sell or Share toggle in the Donny Wonny mobile app. Toggling this control records your preference on your account; the toggle is informational because we do not sell or share your data, but it gives you a written record.
- Submit a verifiable request through our Contact form. We will respond to confirm receipt within 10 business days and to fulfill within 45 days.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit this request on your behalf. If you do, we will require written proof of the agent's authority and we will verify your identity directly before fulfilling the request, as permitted under §1798.135(a)(4).
What information is covered?
This opt-out covers all personal information we collect about you, as defined in CCPA §1798.140(v). Categories of personal information we collect, the sources from which we collect it, the business purposes for which we use it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it for service-provider purposes (not sale and not cross-context advertising) are described in our Privacy Policy.
Sensitive personal information
Your right to limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information (e.g. precise geolocation, contents of communications, account credentials) is a separate right under CPRA §1798.121. See Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information.
Children's data
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age without affirmative authorization. For users under 13, see Section 6 of our Privacy Policy (COPPA).
Non-discrimination
We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a lower quality service because you exercised this right.
