Traffic to and from the app is sent over TLS, and stored data is encrypted at rest by our cloud provider (Google Cloud Firestore, AES-256 by default). Direct messages and in-app community circles (Donny Dens, couples circles, and similar) use end-to-end encryption between participants' devices; Mentor Circle feeds and mentor video rooms are not on that same E2E layer. We follow the GDPR/CCPA processes described in our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion page; we are not third-party certified to those standards.

What's included in the Free plan?βΎ
The Free plan includes 1 Donny companion, 50 AI conversations per week (plus 5 bonus preview messages after you reach the weekly cap), daily curated Soul Sparks (generating your own AI Soul Sparks is a Premium feature), unlimited text journaling, mood tracking, and access to the community. It's a great way to experience Donny Wonny before upgrading.
What does Premium include?βΎ
Premium ($14.99/month or $143.99/year) unlocks unlimited AI conversations for normal use (subject to fair-use anti-abuse limits so no single account can run up runaway costs), custom Donny personality archetypes (Cheerleader, Wise Guide, Adventure Buddy, and more β pick or switch any time), voice journal with auto-transcription, voice responses from Donny, advanced analytics, AI-generated Soul Sparks, the ability to create Donny Dens and Spark Series, publish Blueprints and Journeys, and formatted journal export (CSV, PDF, date range). Save with quarterly or annual billing.
What is the Donny Dens plan?βΎ
Donny Dens ($24.99/month or $239.99/year) unlocks the full Premium experience (custom Donny personality archetypes, voice responses, advanced analytics, etc.) for every member of the den β up to 6 people. The den itself gets a shared Family Donny everyone can talk to, with TWO modes: a private 1:1 thread per member (your conversation stays between you and Donny), and a Family Chat group thread where everyone + Donny can chat together (opt-in per member, with a clear consent notice about who sees what). Plus co-guardian support (a second linked parent for child supervision), a group dashboard with cross-member analytics, and group challenges.
Where do I manage my subscription?βΎ
Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are managed through those platforms respectively. Go to your device's subscription settings to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel. For questions, contact support@donnywonny.com.
Can I switch between Premium and Donny Dens later?βΎ
Yes. Upgrade from Premium to Donny Dens anytime via Settings β Billing or checkout; your new plan starts when checkout completesβwe don't automatically credit unused Premium time in-app yet, so email support@donnywonny.com if you need help. Downgrade or cancel anytime; access continues through the period you've already paid for.

What is a Donny companion?βΎ
A Donny companion is your personalized AI growth partner. You choose their name, personality archetype, and communication style. Over time, Donny learns your preferences, remembers your goals, and adapts to support you best.
Does Donny remember our conversations?βΎ
Yes. Donny builds an AI-generated summary of your interactions, goals, moods, and preferences over time. The summary is stored on your account and used to personalize your experience. We use OpenAI to generate the summary text β see our Privacy Policy for the full sub-processor list. We do not sell your data.
Can I reset or delete my Donny companion?βΎ
Yes. You can reset a companion's memory or delete it entirely from the companion settings screen. Deleted companions and their memories are permanently removed from our servers.
Is Donny a replacement for professional therapy?βΎ
No. Donny Wonny is a personal growth companion, not a licensed mental health provider. It is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical advice. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified mental health professional or emergency services.
